I think he would fit in nicely and know what expectations are for him. Him coming from an organization that is very systematic and about the team and not the player I feel he would slide in nicely to the Devils Organization as they are run almost the same as Detroit's. We do also have guys who can get him the puck in the right places to help him succeed. Elias is no slouch and Jagr if anything can still set players up and create room add Zajac to that as he is more of a pass first player and I think he would fit very nicely with the current group of guys we have.

Brunner can't say i saw him play much other than the playoffs. He played well for Detroit in the post season for sure and we could always use the added scoring depth. Can't say i would be against getting him but we do seem to have a lot of forwards in camp right now I would be surprised to see us add another forward at this point.

If he is an upgrade over a player who might be on the team why not? It would be best if he doesn't get a contract worked out and we can just offer him a pto so we can give him a look before we commit anything to him but like I said until I see otherwise I think he would be a great fit.

There is a place no denying that. We do need wingers and he does play wing mostly i believe. Probably in our best interest to let Boucher and Matteau continue to develop in AHL so the signing makes sense in that regard. I'm just looking at the cap and know Lou likes to have some wiggle room. I'd imagine Brunner takes up more then 1/2 if we sign him. Not much room to add anyone of significance with 2 million or less in cap space.

Enough fantasy talk. Henrique is centering Ryder and Clowe with the first group. That could be a good line.

We could trade Urbom for Franson and still be considered to be destined for a top five pick in the eyes of everyone else so it doesn't really matter if we bring anyone else in the boys just got to go to work and show everyone they are wrong.... once again.

It is supposed to but who knows how much I don't like to bank on it going way up like everyone else cause we won't know till we see but it is a safe bet it is going up a bit. Boucher is proving to be a real pro I am loving his interviews he is so mature you can just see he is going to put in all the hardwork needed to succeed where as when I watch Merril's interview he is very skinny and fidgety you can tell he has smoked pot and has maturity issues where Boucher just knows what to say and how to keep his expectations realistic and not let his OHL season get to his head he knows he won't score that many goals for a while anyways.

Hahaha I don't know I would say doubtful with the type of comments we get in here from other fan bases, most notably ones who just made the playoffs for the first time in a while and are now sure fire locks

Them and few others To be honest the biggest problem I have with the Isles is I can't stand their colors and jerseys but other then that they are just a neutral team to me I don't hate them or overly like them lol

don't you know we probably won't be in the playoffs for at least another 5-10 years we don't have any prospects and only the Leafs are allowed to preach building through the draft while half there team is made up of guys not drafted by them

Yeah I know. We'll finish dead last in the league 8 out of those 10 years. We'll never win the lottery either, always draft second or third.
